Google Review Link Generator

A Google review link opens the review box for your business straight away — your customer taps once and is already typing their review. This free tool creates that link from your business's Place ID, so you can paste it into emails, texts, or ReviewFlow review requests.

Generate your Google review link

Paste your Place ID or a Google Maps link that contains one, then copy the review link below.

How to find your Google Place ID

  1. Open Google's Place ID finder. Go to Google's Place ID page and type your business name and address into the search box there.
  2. Pick your business. Click your listing in the results — a Place ID that starts with "ChIJ" appears in a panel.
  3. Copy it. Select and copy the Place ID, then paste it into the tool above.

Alternatively, if your Google Maps link already contains place_id= in its address (for example, from a map embed), you can paste the whole link into the tool above and it will pull the Place ID out for you.

How to use your review link

  1. Test it yourself first. Open the link in a new tab and make sure it shows your business — not a different one.
  2. Add it to your messages. Paste the link into the emails or texts you send customers after a job or visit.
  3. Save it as a review destination in ReviewFlow. In ReviewFlow, go to Destinations and add this link as your Google destination. Every review request you create can then point customers straight to it.

What the review link does

The link goes to Google's own review page for your business. It works on phones and computers and never expires. It does not collect anything, and it works whether the person has a Google account or not — if they are not signed in, Google simply asks them to sign in before they can post the review.

Can't find your Place ID?

  • Use the link Google gives you. If you have a Google Business Profile, you can also get a ready-made review link directly from it: open your profile, choose "Ask for reviews", and Google gives you a short link to share. Either link works.
  • Check the spelling. Place IDs start with "ChIJ" and contain no spaces. Make sure you copied the whole string.
  • Try the other business. Make sure you searched for the exact business name and address of the listing you want reviewed.

Next step: ask for reviews automatically

Once your review link is ready, ReviewFlow keeps it on hand and fills it into every review request you write — personalised with your customer's name and your business name. You copy and send each request yourself, so it always comes from you.
